Sallyanna Cohen is a certified School Psychologist in California, Georgia, and Michigan. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and her M.S. in School Psychology with a PPS Credential from National University. Sallyanna has been employed as a School Psychologist for the public school systems in Los Angeles, California, Atlanta, GA and currently, as a virtual psychologist for schools in Detroit, Michigan. She has experience working with students in general and special education ranging from preschool thru high school age with diverse backgrounds and needs. Sallyanna has an innate passion to help students achieve success in not only academics, but with their well-being as a whole. As someone who struggled with learning disabilities in school, she knows first hand how it can negatively impact motivation and self-esteem. As a School Psychologist you fill many positions. You are not only working with students, but also collaborating with parents, teachers, staff, and administrators serving as an advocate and and educator to improve education and supports within the school and home environment.
